Robinhood is shorting the DOGE market
I know what a short is. This isn’t a literal one, but it’s the closest thing I can think of to describing what’s happening. Forget I called it a short and just read the damn post.
Mods at dogecoin deleted my first post. This is the truth about what happens to your money when you buy cryptos on robinhood. Robinhood is inflating the hype to get everyone to give them money for their pump and dump scheme on the crypto market. They have no obligation to buy doge and they probably won’t either. Spread the word.
Please share the post if you feel this message is worth spreading. If you don’t like reading, skip to the stickied comment. And if you read this, say “damn he’s right” then don’t do anything, you’re part of the problem. This Information doesn’t spread itself. Help me help the community and we’ll all be better for it.

RobinHood has no obligation to buy DOGE for you.

READ THE TOS

RobinHood moves your money to another company after you make an order to buy the crypto. After that, it disappears. You are only left with a CREDIT from them (not an actual coin, so there’s no proof they purchased it for you) saying you can come back and exchange the credit for money. They are not purchasing DOGE on your behalf. They are letting you throw money at them, and you are not affecting the price with your purchases on RobinHood.
They never mention once that they have an obligation to purchase the coins for you on an exchange and hold them. If they bought doge, they’d lose money once everyone pulls out because they’d have to sell the coins faster than the people are selling on their platform.
BUY DOGE ON A REAL COIN EXCHANGE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO TRANSFER OUT THE COIN INTO A 3RD PARTY WALLET. DOGE ONLY GROWS IF YOU HAVE THE COINS IN A WALLET, NOT HELD IN AN EXCHANGE ACCOUNT
sources are Robinhood crypto user agreement.
**1. Robinhood Crypto Service (f) "authorization to clearing broker" -" I understand that when I elect to purchase Cryptocurrencies on the Robinhood Platform, I am authorizing and instructing Robinhood Financial to instruct Robinhood Securities, LLC (the "Clearing Broker") to accept such instruction to transfer the funds required for the transaction from my RHC Account to an account in the name of RHC (the “Entity Account”). I acknowledge that legal title to any such transferred funds will pass to RHC to effectuate settlement and that the Clearing Broker does not have the ability to monitor or recall the funds after such funds have been transferred to the external bank account."
**4. Orders (d) "title and ownership" -outlines how the crypto is only owned by you in the form of a credit. You're sort of purchasing chips at a casino.

TL;DR: robin hood is taking your money, shifting it to another company that has no obligation to purchase the thing you wanted, and robin hood gives you an iou. ROBINHOOD IS NOT PURCHASING DOGE ON YOUR BEHALF AND IS PROBABLY DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO KEEP THE PRICE DOWN.

Remember this above all else. If they sell you the coin, but you can’t use it on a different website, you don’t own the coin and your purchase had no effect on the price. You probably helped them lower the price of DOGE without even realizing it
My prediction is that doge will have a small rally after Monday (volatile day) then Tuesday is shaky if not complete plummet. but never explode like expected. All the other cryptos will slowly grow over the weekend into the week (from robinhood pumping) then all the cryptos will crash near the end of the week. If you buy the coins on a different platform and transfer it to your wallet, then the prices will move up and STAY up. That’s how we win this.

Hey guys read this if you’re on robinhood

PREFACE

This is the truth about what happens to your money when you buy cryptos on robinhood. Robinhood is TAKING THE MONEY MEANT TO BUY DOGE, and instead is using it to fight the war against wallstreetbets. They have no obligation to buy doge and they probably won’t either.
If you feel this information is accurate, please share with everyone using robinhood. Doge won’t rise if all the purchases are on robinhood. It’s that simple

Why the NSAC stopped reporting payouts or a brief window into just how much influence the UFC/Zuffa/the Fertitta’s have in Nevada politics.

Up front, sorry for the very long post, I tried to be concise but there is a lot of information I had to try and whittle down.
Late last night I found a post about Jessica Rose Clark only having $17 in her bank account. I went to the event’s wiki page to see what she was paid this past weekend. Weirdly, I found that the payouts weren’t listed, which they usually are on the wiki pages for Vegas events as Nevada and the NSAC have always disclosed show/win money. It turns out Nevada no longer discloses payouts. Because I’m a stubborn person I decided to see if I could find out why. I wrote a brief post about what I found in that thread, linked here, and someone mentioned that this should be it's own post. So I did a little more looking around and here is what I found:
The change from disclosing to not disclosing payouts is a result of Nevada Senate Bill 29, which was passed in May of 2019 but has been in the works since at least 2017. The bill was sponsored by the Senate Committee on Judiciary.
The committee's members are the following state senators: Nicole J. Cannizzaro – Chair, Dallas Harris- Vice Chair, James Ohrenschall, Marilyn Dondero Loop, Melanie Scheible, Scott Hammond, Ira Hansen, Keith F. Pickard. Source.
The NSAC commissioner Staci Alonso spoke in favor of the bill in front of the committee in February of 2019. Source
When I started looking into why these people would want to make this change, I thought about who benefits most from it. I decided to check for connections between any of the parties involved and the UFC/the Fertitta’s/WME. This is what I found.
The chair of the committee that wrote and introduced the bill, Nicole J. Cannizzaro, at one point in time received a donation of $10,000 from Zuffa LLC, and $4500 from Station Casino LLC. Station Casino LLC is owned by the Fertitta brothers. Source, in the “Top Contributor category scroll down and click “see more contributors”. You’ll see Zuffa and Station Casino there. Repeat this process for later sources.
Dallas Harris at some point received $2500 from Zuffa LLC. Source.
Melanie Scheible also received $1000 from Zuffa LLC and $5000 from a Station Casino property at some point. Source, same process as last time.
Ira Hansen recieved $2500 from Station Casino LLC at some point. Source.
Committee member Keith Pickard recieved $5000 from Station Casino LLC and $1000 from Zuffa LLC at some point. Source.
Committee member Marilyn Dondero Loop received $2500 from Station Casino LLC at some point. Source.
Committee member Scott Hammond also received $1000 from Zuffa LLC DBA Ultimate Fighting Championship at some point. Source. He also received $5000 total from two Station Casino properties Source. There is more to Scott too. Scott was part of a situation where it was discovered that Nevada casino groups were paying substantially more than people were aware of to politicians by using different properties and businesses to skirt campaign finance laws. Scott apparently received $88,000 from these groups in 2017. Source. The companies involved aren’t named specifically in connection to Scott, but we know they are operating on behalf of Nevada casinos per the article. Again, the Fertitta’s own Station Casinos. We've seen with multiple state senators that they received money from more than one group owned by the Fertitta's. This creates an interesting situation because in the case of Scheible and Hammond some of their Station Casino money was trickier to find because it wasn't from the LLC, but rather an individual property under a different name. Are there more companies listed as corporate donors that we just don't know are owned by the Fertitta's? If so how much in total did each senator get?
Now, these are all just corporate donation records. If Dana, the Fertitta’s, Ari, etc. donated as private citizens I can’t find it. This also doesn't include money donated to PACs operating on each politician's behalf.
The NSAC commissioner who spoke on behalf of the bill to the committee, Staci Alonso, was at the time she was hired as NSAC commissioner an executive at Station Casinos. Source.
What this all means is we don’t get disclosed payouts in Vegas anymore, which is bad for us and fighters. Fighters now lose the biggest event state disclosing this information which means they can’t use this information as leverage in their own contract negotiations. Now, to be clear there’s no direct proof that the UFC used its friends and their influence in Vegas to get this rule changed. Companies donate to politicians all the time. All we know for sure is there is money changing hands between friends and former majority owners of the UFC and these politicians and that this change benefits the UFC more than anyone else.
I just thought all this was an interesting window in the world of Las Vegas politics, bureaucracy and MMA.
TLDR: Zuffa/Station Casinos, owned by the Fertitta's, donated money to a bunch of politicians on a committee who then later was instrumental in making it so the NSAC no longer discloses payouts in Nevada.

Can they actually do this?

Got a weird email on my Gmail account early this morning at first I thought I was in trouble, read it through and then realized that it may be a scam .. who knows? Anyway have any of you received this kind of email, and if so what's your best way to deal with it?
Hello,
Google has received a subpoena for information related to your Google account. This email serves as notice to you that Google may produce information in response to the subpoenas unless you make a formal objection in court, as described below.
The subpoena was issued by the Plaintiffs in a class-action lawsuit entitled SEAN WILSON, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated v. PLAYITKA LTD, an Israeli Limited Company, and CAESAR’S INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, 18-cv-05277-RSL. Google is not a party to this litigation. The subpoena generally seeks contact information for purposes of identifying class members and administering a settlement. You have not been subpoenaed and you are not a target of the underlying lawsuit. Note that you may also receive separate notices from the parties involved in this settlement.
Specifically, Google may produce the contact information associated with your Google account used to make purchases for the gaming apps entitled Vegas Downtown Slots, Slotomania, House of Fun, and Caesars Casino.
UNLESS YOU PROVIDE GOOGLE WITH A FILE-STAMPED COPY OF A MOTION TO QUASH OR ANOTHER TYPE OF FORMAL OBJECTION FILED WITH THE COURT BY 10 A.M. PACIFIC TIME ON OCTOBER 9, 2020, GOOGLE MAY PRODUCE INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO THE PLAINTIFFS PURSUANT TO THEIR SUBPOENA.
TO THE EXTENT YOU FILE A MOTION TO QUASH, PLEASE INCLUDE ANY RELEVANT EMAIL ADDRESS(ES) ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR PLAY ACCOUNT(S) TO ENABLE GOOGLE TO WITHHOLD YOUR INFORMATION FROM ANY PRODUCTION MADE IN THIS MATTER.
Also gives a name an address, and an email address to contact someone regarding it. Any/all help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Bear in mind I am from Australia .. so again .. any help would be appreciated.

dMY Technology Group Schedules Shareholder Meeting to Vote for Business Combination with Rush Street Interactive on December 29, 2020 - DMYT DMYT.WS

"Dear Stockholders of dMY Technology Group, Inc.:
You are cordially invited to attend the special meeting (the “special meeting”) of stockholders of dMY Technology Group, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“dMY,” the “Company,” “we,” “us” or “our”), which will be held at 10:00 AM, Eastern Time, on December 29, 2020, at https://www.cstproxy.com/dmytechnology/sm2020/ (the “special meeting”)."
"On July 27, 2020, the Company entered into a Business Combination Agreement with Rush Street Interactive, LP, a Delaware limited partnership (“RSI”), the sellers set forth on the signature pages thereto (collectively, the “Sellers” and each, a “Seller”), dMY Sponsor, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Sponsor”), and Rush Street Interactive GP, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, in its capacity as the Sellers’ Representative (in such capacity, the “Sellers’ Representative”). The parties amended and restated the Business Combination Agreement on October 9, 2020 and further amended the Business Combination Agreement on December 4, 2020 (as so amended and restated and further amended, the “Business Combination Agreement”). The transactions contemplated by the Business Combination Agreement are referred to herein as the “Business Combination.” You are being asked to vote on the Business Combination. "
" The record date for the special meeting is November 30, 2020. "

Also, dMY Technology Group released an 8-K this morning, with the same information, which also disclosed the following information:
"The definitive proxy statement contains additional disclosure in Note 1 to RSI’s consolidated financial statements on page F-39 of the definitive proxy statement about an under accrual by RSI of related party royalty expense in costs of revenue, and a related overstatement of amounts due from affiliated land-based casinos, during the three months ended and as of September 30, 2020, which was identified by RSI subsequent to the filing of dMY’s most recently filed preliminary proxy statement relating to the Business Combination on December 4, 2020. Specifically, RSI has determined that the related party royalty expense included in costs of revenue was understated, and the related amounts due from affiliated land-based casinos was overstated, by approximately $9.0 million for RSI’s quarter ended September 30, 2020. Subsequent to the identification of the under accrual, RSI retrospectively amended its agreements with an affiliated land-based casino on December 10, 2020, pursuant to which the casino agreed to reduce the royalty expense by $3.0 million per month for July, August and September of 2020. RSI has informed dMY that, as a result, this under accrual had no impact on RSI’s financial statements as of and for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2020 and will have no impact on RSI’s previously announced projected future revenue or adjusted EBITDA. RSI has further informed dMY that this amendment was, by its terms, one time in nature, and similar amendments will not occur in the future. Absent such amendment, RSI’s cost of revenue would have been increased by $9.0 million and the amount due from affiliated land-based casinos would have been lower by $9.0 million for the three months ended and as of September 30, 2020.
In addition, RSI has informed dMY that RSI’s projected 2020 annual revenue is trending towards the upper end of its previously disclosed range of $265 million to $275 million, assuming professional and college sports calendared events occur as currently planned."

In June/8/2020 Gago launched a sharp attack against Pashinyan administration and vowed to unify the opposition. Pashinyan's office referred to it as an attempt by Gago to make noise because he knows there are serious criminal investigations against him.

Today the NSS revealed the investigations against Gago.
One of them is about voter buying. Simultaneously, a screenshot of a document was leaking allegedly showing a payment scheme in Gegharquniq Province. Names and positions are listed. 2k to transport the voter, 10k for voters, dozens of millions for local activists, etc.
BHK says the screenshot was Photoshopped and is fake. NSS says they confiscated several PCs and documents regarding this case.
NSS says:
Several BHK members carried out a plan to commit voter fraud involving 100s of millions of AMD, some disguised as an aid for students and others.
Over 40 raids were carried out. PCs and documents were confiscated.
It's about April/2/2017 Parliamentary elections in which Gago's BHK got 28%. Party admins were also involved. End of report.
BHK MP Naira: they detained our entire crew in the Gegharquniq office and confiscated every computer and phone from all family members.

Casino shenanigans
NSS report says: Gago's casino chain defrauded the state of 30bln, and caused another 40bln in lost investments between 2011-2014. They abused a specific law to fabricate documents to gain a right to do businesses in multiple locations and for other personal benefits.

Another felony about property abuse.
NSS report says:
Arinj city officials illegally legalized properties built on agricultural lands, by forging docs to claim the 7.5ha lands were for industrial use. Other laws were broken. The beneficiary was Gago's Nyu LLC. ~350mln in damages to the state.

Gago will go to NSS to testify.
He said he won't back down, calling it an illegal pressure and persecution. He criticized govt's handling of economy and pandemic.

Supporters gather.
Workers from Gago's several businesses gathered in front of his mansion and the NSS office to show support.
The police are trying to make sure the crowd respects COVID safety. They warned the crowd against over-crowding.
Eventually, >100 protesters were arrested after shutting down a nearby street and continuing the gathering. Among them were Gago's business directors.

Observers.
Informed Citizens NGO chief says the police actions against protesters were lawful.
NGO boss: "Recently we noticed that people, who learn through leaks about upcoming criminal cases against them, choose to ramp up their political activities so later they can claim to be a victim of political persecution."
"We've long complained about voter-fraud-like activities by BHK, some of which were happening blatantly in front of cameras. This case looks like the Zibilix case [in which several HHK members plead guilty/convicted of voter fraud]."

Pressured to join protests.
There are several reports that Gago's businesses are pressuring workers to go join the protests. Gago's Arinj Mall workers say the Mall's deputy director and Yerevan councilman Armen Nersisyan is behind it. Armen Nersisyan denied, saying he has an alibi.
Arinj Mall was closed today. The workers and contractors couldn't open their booths for sales.

A rare incident.
Professional protester Vardges Gaspari (laying on the ground guy) came to support the police and authorities. He supports "criminals being raided".

The interrogation is over.
After testifying for 10 hours at the NSS facility, Gago finally exited the building. He's not arrested, at least not for now due to immunity.
Gago referred to the situation as political persecution because he claims it was a response to his last week's sharp rhetoric against Pashinyan. (SIMP mentality right here)

Stripping the immunity.
General Prosecutor's office might ask the Parliament to strip Gago's immunity so he can be charged and arrested, "if enough evidence is revealed". They dismissed BHK's allegations that it's political persecution.
QP will hold a meeting tomorrow to decide whether to strip his immunity.

QP and BHK members respond.
QP MP Kristine: 10 days from now, when the COVID numbers spike, BHK will accuse the govt of failing the fight. [referring to today's gathering].
The length of NSS's document against Gago shows how large this investigation was, therefore it must have started a long time ago. BHK's claim that this was a response to Gago's last week's activation makes no sense.

BHK Naira: this is the beginning of the end for this govt, and the end will come quick. Complete disregard for personal life. More fabrications and persecutions. Nothing will silence us.
To those QP MPs who'll vote on stripping Gago of immunity, I want them to remember that tomorrow there may come a time for them to be held accountable for their actions.

Not just Gago.
ex-BHK MP Ishkhan Zakarayan also testified for 4 hours as part of the voter fraud case. NSS says he reveled some info. He's a semi-suspect.

Poker Tournament / Casino Night Business

Hi all, hope it's ok to post this here. So i'm starting a casino party business. Similar to a DJ, i will be hired by customers or event planners to turn any fundraiser or party into a casino night or poker tournament. I've been in this industry for quite some time and want to start my own company, doing my own sales and running my own events. I cannot decide on a business name -- which i'm basically at the whim of whatever domain names are available. Here's what i thought of so far;
Double Down Entertainment LLC
Five Diamonds Events LLC
Action Casino LLC
Stack City LLC
That's Poker LLC
Lucky 7's Events LLC
If anyone would like to give me any feedback on these names it would be greatly appreciated. I would like their to be some sort of 'high-end appeal' when you hear my business name, as many competitors in my location are on the lower end of quality. I know all these names don't fit that but i'm just brainstorming at this point. any suggestions also appreciated!! thank you!

Need feedback from my peers in the PS community on a Remove-Win10Apps script

UPDATED:2020-01-20 - Made some bug fixes and documented the apps better.
Hello Everyone!
I've written a script for unnecessary Win 10 apps and would like to get some feedback. I've been only the sole "script guy" at my work so please be gentle with your comments :)
I've focused on some new elements I haven't used much before like help comments, logging, and try/catch blocks that I can standardize on across my scripts.
In my limited testing I'm using this as a Computer logon script through GPO to run this script.
Thanks!
Note, I just realized I have a few bugs to work out. I was testing with Powershell 7 RC1 with the more recent changes I've made and didn't realized I had broke are some things running in 5.1. Like 'split-path -leafbase'.
Shoot, well either way I was looking for more constructive feedback on the layout, logic, and process.
<# .SYNOPSIS Removes installed and provisioned Appx packages in Windows 10. .DESCRIPTION To simplify the user experience and to streamline the configuration of Windows this script removes unneccesary Windows 10 apps. These have been sorted into 4 categories: Home = Computers used in a home setting. The difference between this and the ones below is this keeps the Xbox apps, and Mail app as they make sense on a personal computer. Named = Computers that are normally used by a single person in a typical office environment. Or at least typical where I work. Shared = Computers that are normally shared by multiple people with shared logins and have more direct functions (Lab PC, HR Kiosk, Conference Room PC etc.) Server = Computers that are used in a server type function, running Windows 10, and not used as a desktop PC. (Manufacturing floor PC, badge printing system etc.) Note that these lists are cumulative. Home = Home list Named = Home + Named lists Shared = Home + Named + Shared lists Server = Named + Shared + Server lists Suggest putting this in a computer based GPO login script .EXAMPLE PS C:\>.\Remove-Win10Apps.ps1 Removes all apps from the default home list asking for confirmation for each found app. Writes log to 'C:\Logs\Remove-Win10Apps.log'. .EXAMPLE PS C:\>.\Remove-Win10Apps.ps1 -LogPath '\\server\share\appremoval.log' Removes all apps from the default home list asking for confirmation for each found app. Writes log to '\\server\share\appremoval.log'. .EXAMPLE PS C:\>.\Remove-Win10Apps.ps1 -PCType "Shared" -Whatif Won't remove but just list all apps from the combined default home, named, and then shared list that it's found. .EXAMPLE PS C:\>.\Remove-Win10Apps.ps1 -PCType "Server" -Confirm:$false Removes all apps from the default home, named, shared, and server list without prompting for confirmation. Writes log to 'C:\Logs\Remove-Win10Apps.log'. .INPUTS None .OUTPUTS None .NOTES More than just inspiration taken from the following https://github.com/W4RH4WK/Debloat-Windows-10/blob/mastescripts/remove-default-apps.ps1 http://guidestomicrosoft.com/2016/08/26/simple-function-for-logging-powershell-script/ #> #Requires -RunAsAdministrator #Requires -Version 5.1 [CmdletBinding(SupportsShouldProcess = $true, ConfirmImpact = 'High')] param ( # Specifies the list of apps from Home (the least removed) to Server (the most removed) [ValidateSet("Home", "Named", "Shared", "Server")] [String]$PCType = "Home", # Enter the full path to where you'd like the script to log it's changes. California: Not Anonymous/Only individuals can claim. “ The name and location of the retailer who sold you the winning ticket, the date you won and the amount of your winnings are also matters of public record and are subject to disclosure. While most winners claim prizes using their individual names, some winners come forward using other legal entities (i.e., trusts, business partnership) to claim their prizes. In those instances, the Lottery will promote the win using that legal entity's name.
